BLOG REPORT:
“Global Blockchain Congress 2024”

On October 19, 2024, I had the opportunity to attend the Global Blockchain Congress at the Bataan People's Center in Balanga, Bataan. This event was not just another seminar; it was a full-day journey into the evolving world of blockchain technology, filled with insights from industry leaders, networking opportunities, and engaging discussions.

A Challenging Yet Rewarding Start

The day started early for us, as we traveled from Olongapo to Bataan. Waking up before dawn was a challenge, but the excitement of the congress kept my spirits high. The call time was set for 8:00 AM, and the event promised a packed schedule running until 5:00 PM. Despite the early start, I was eager to dive into the wealth of knowledge that awaited us.

Valuable Insights and Learnings

The congress featured a diverse lineup of speakers, including notable figures such as Mr. Utile, Donald Lim, Atty. Ida Mok, Emmy Lou V. Delfin, and many others. Each speaker brought their expertise, discussing topics ranging from the current state of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the innovative concepts surrounding WEB3AI.

One key takeaway for me was understanding how AI and blockchain can intersect to create decentralized applications that offer enhanced security and efficiency. The concept of WEB3AI presents exciting possibilities for the future, showing how these technologies can transform various industries, from finance to supply chain management.

Engagement and Fun

Beyond the informative sessions, the event was also fun! We explored numerous booths, picking up merchandise like tote bags, tumblers, and t-shirts. The organizers provided snacks and a catered lunch, which was a thoughtful touch. However, I did notice that the number of plates was insufficient for all attendees, causing some delays. For future events, I suggest ensuring that the number of participants aligns with the venue's capacity to avoid such issues.

Overall, the Global Blockchain Congress was an enriching experience. Despite the early wake-up call and the minor logistical hiccups, I left the event with a wealth of knowledge and a greater understanding of the potential blockchain technology holds. The blend of learning, networking, and a bit of fun made it a day to remember, and I look forward to applying these insights in my future endeavors.
