“Unlocking Creativity: Figma Basics and Beyond”

On September 14, 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to host the seminar titled "Unlocking Creativity: Figma Basics and Beyond," organized by my team, ByteWise Matrix. With the talented Mr. John Neo Lopez as our resource speaker, we gathered from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to dive deep into the essentials of design.

As the host, my main focus was on ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all attendees. This was my first time serving as an MC, and I must admit I was a bit nervous. However, I was determined to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. From planning to execution, our goal was to inspire participants to kick-start their design journeys while equipping them with practical tips and workflows. Mr. Lopez delivered a captivating presentation that shed light on Figma's essential features and the fundamentals of UI/UX design.

It was incredibly rewarding to see participants actively engage with the content and learn from Mr. Lopez. Their enthusiasm reminded me of why I love organizing events like this—knowing that we are providing valuable tools and inspiration for aspiring designers.

Being involved in the preparation for this seminar reinforced the importance of effective communication and teamwork. Collaborating with the ByteWise Matrix team was a highlight of the experience; together, we created an engaging atmosphere that encouraged participation and learning.

As I watched attendees interact with the material, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment. It was gratifying to see their excitement about the possibilities in design and know that our hard work had made a difference.

I was thrilled to receive positive feedback on the organization and flow of the event. Participants praised the clarity of the content, especially in understanding Figma’s tools and features. This reassured me that our efforts were worthwhile and that we successfully delivered valuable information.

For future activities, I suggest that we incorporate more interactive sessions. While the live demonstrations were well-received, many participants expressed interest in engaging in hands-on activities to apply their learnings in real time. Incorporating breakout sessions or guided design exercises would enhance engagement and provide a deeper understanding of the tools being discussed.

Hosting the seminar "Unlocking Creativity: Figma Basics and Beyond" was an enriching experience that I won’t forget. As part of ByteWise Matrix, I am excited to continue empowering aspiring designers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. I look forward to our future events, where we can keep inspiring creativity and collaboration in the design community.
